Mark and drill

Hold the plate level and mark the four holes. Drill the cable hole inside the plate’s outline so the bracket covers it.

Fix the arm

Pull the cable through, then screw the plate to the wall with four fixings.

Connect the camera

Feed the cable along the arm and plug in the camera’s cable tail at the end.

Fit and aim

Screw the camera’s base onto the ring, then aim the camera.

Which cameras does it fit?

Uniview lists it for its IPC32XS/E/L domes, and its accessory guide adds the IPC31X mini domes and the IPC361X Easy (LE) turrets. From our black range: IPC326SS, IPC328SS, IPC3616LE, IPC3618LE, IPC3626LE and IPC3628LE. It also fits the Uniarch IPC-T1E8-B, IPC-T1P5-B and IPC-T1P8-B (their datasheets list the black wall mount). For the Prime IPC36XXS and IPC363X turrets use the TR-WM03-B-IN.

How far does it hold the camera from the wall?

The arm is 185.4 mm long overall, so the camera sits clear of the wall and can look along it.

How big is the wall plate?

About 125 × 126.4 mm, with four fixing holes on a 107 mm square.

What screws do I need?

Four screws to suit the holes, with masonry plugs for brick or concrete, or timber screws into a stud or fascia. Plasterboard alone is not strong enough for an arm. Uniview does not list fixings in the box.

How much weight will it hold?

Uniview does not publish a load rating. Because the arm levers the camera’s weight out from the wall, fix it into solid material.

How does the cable get to the camera?

Drill the cable hole inside the outline of the wall plate so the bracket covers it, and run the cable inside the arm to the camera. This arm has no junction box, so the camera’s cable joint sits in the arm or the wall; for a covered joint on an outdoor wall use the TR-JB07/WM03-G-IN (black: TR-JB07/WM03-G-IN-V2-BK), which has a junction box built in.

Can I use it outdoors?

Yes, it is aluminium and made for Uniview’s outdoor domes and turrets. Seal the cable hole in the wall behind the plate.

Arm or junction box?

Use the arm on a wall when you want the camera to look along it or there is no eave. Use the TR-JB03-G-IN-BK or TR-JB03-I-IN-BK junction box to fix the camera flat to a ceiling or wall.

What is it made of?

Aluminium alloy, 0.52 kg. It will not rust like steel.

Is it white or black?

Black. It is the black finish of the TR-WM03-D-IN, made to match black Uniview cameras.

Do I need a licensed installer?

Fixing the bracket is a normal handyman job. In Australia, fixed data cabling inside walls and ceilings must be run by a registered cabler; plugging a camera into an existing outlet does not need one.

What is the warranty?

Uniview 3-year manufacturer warranty, handled in Australia through InFront. Contact us first and we will organise any claim.
