Akuvox AK-S535INWALLK recesses the S535 5″ facial recognition door phone into the wall. The metal flush box fits a 203.5 × 94 × 34 mm opening, the bracket screws onto it and the S535 hangs on the bracket. This is the standard box for an S535 with no module; with a fingerprint, loop or LTE module fitted, use the module version.

Recess the S535 into the wall.
Standard box, no module.
The AK-S535INWALLK is Akuvox’s standard flush-mounting set for the S535: a back box and a bracket. It is sized to the S535 on its own; an S535 with a module underneath needs the longer module box.
This SKU is the standard in-wall box and bracket.
You receive the box, bracket and fixings below, as listed under flush-mounting accessories in the Akuvox S535 quick guide. The S535 is sold separately.

Recessed, the S535 sits close to the wall face for a clean entry on new builds and fit-outs, with the cabling hidden in the box.
In the box
Back box and bracket.
The metal flush box has knock-out cable entries and fixes into the wall with four ST4×20 screws and anchors.
The flush bracket screws onto it with six M4×8 screws; the S535 hooks onto the bracket and is secured with the Torx screw supplied with it.
Standard vs module
For the S535 on its own.
This box needs a 203.5 mm-tall opening for the 210 mm S535. With a module the S535 is 260 mm tall, and the module box (AK-S535INWALLKEX) needs a 255.5 mm opening.
Both boxes are 93 mm wide and 33 mm deep, so the width and depth of the opening are the same.

How big a hole do I need?
203.5 mm high, 94 mm wide and 34 mm deep.
I am fitting a fingerprint, loop or LTE module. Is this the right box?
No. Use the in-wall box for S535 with modules (AK-S535INWALLKEX), which needs a 255.5 × 94 × 34 mm opening.
Could I add a module later with this box?
Not without changing the box — the module version is longer. If a module is likely, rough in the 255.5 mm opening and module box from the start.
How high should the box go?
Akuvox’s placement drawing puts the camera centre 1,500 mm above the ground, with the bottom of the panel about 1,308 mm up.
Does the S535 come with a mounting box?
No. Every S535 needs an on-wall or in-wall box, sold separately.
Is the door phone included?
No. This SKU is the box, bracket and fixings only.
Standard or module box — pick before you cut.
Choose this box for an S535 on its own. If a fingerprint, induction loop or LTE module will be fitted, order the module version — it needs a 52 mm taller opening.
Installation & safety notice
Fitting. Cut a 203.5 × 94 × 34 mm (H × W × D) opening, knock out a cable entry, fix the box with four ST4×20 screws and anchors, then fix the bracket with six M4×8 screws so its four tabs sit flush with the wall. Fill any gaps around the box with matching wall material — see the Akuvox S535 quick guide.
