Akuvox AK-S532INWALLK flush-mounts the S532 keypad SIP door phone. The metal back box goes into a 289 × 98 × 52.5 mm wall opening, the bracket screws onto it, and the S532 hangs on the bracket so only the front panel stands proud of the wall. Screws and anchors included.

The AK-S532INWALLK is Akuvox’s flush-mounting kit for the S532. The door phone ships without a box; this kit sets it into the wall for a slim, built-in look on new builds and renovations.

This SKU is the in-wall installation kit.

You receive the box, bracket and fixings listed below, as shown in the Akuvox S532 quick guide. The S532 door phone is sold separately.

Built in, not bolted on.

A recessed S532 sits close to the wall face, looks part of the façade and leaves less of the housing exposed to knocks.

In the kit

Back box plus bracket.

The steel flush box has knock-out cable entries on every side and fixes into the wall with six ST4×20 screws and anchors.

The flush bracket screws onto the box with six M4×8 screws and carries the S532, which is secured with the Torx screw supplied with the door phone.

Fit

Sized for the S532.

The box measures 287.7 × 96.9 × 52.2 mm and needs a 289 × 98 × 52.5 mm opening. The 301 × 106 mm S532 front panel covers the opening.

On exposed entries, add the S532 in-wall rain cover around the recessed door phone.

Common questions

How big a hole do I need?

289 mm high, 98 mm wide and 52.5 mm deep.

Does the S532 come with a mounting box?

No. Every S532 needs either this in-wall kit or the S532 on-wall kit.

How high should the box go?

Akuvox’s placement drawing puts the camera centre 1,500 mm above the ground, which puts the bottom of the in-wall box at about 1,252 mm.

Which rain cover goes with a flush install?

The S532 in-wall rain cover. The on-wall rain cover is for surface-mounted units.

What about thin plasterboard walls?

Akuvox makes a separate S532 plasterboard mounting kit with a decorative metal frame and a shallower 289 × 98 × 32 mm opening. This kit is the full-depth metal box.

Is the door phone included?

No. The kit contains the box, bracket and fixings only.

Flush S532 installs.

Order one kit per S532 you want recessed, and add the S532 in-wall rain cover on exposed entries. For surface installs use the S532 on-wall kit.

Installation & safety notice

Fitting. Cut a 289 × 98 × 52.5 mm (H × W × D) opening at the cable position, knock out a cable entry, fix the box with six ST4×20 screws and anchors, then fix the bracket to the box with six M4×8 screws. Akuvox notes the box must not sit higher than the wall face or tilt by more than 2° — see the Akuvox S532 quick guide.
