Which door phones does it fit?

Akuvox R28 and R27 series stations when they are flush-mounted.

Is it for surface-mounted stations?

No. This is the in-wall cover; it is used with the R27 / R28 in-wall installation kit.

How is it fixed?

The cover and the flush-mounting bracket go onto the wall together with six ST4×20 screws, then the door phone hooks on and is locked with its two M3×6 hex socket screws.

Is there an on-wall version?

Yes. Akuvox makes a separate on-wall rain cover for surface-mounted R27 / R28 stations; this SKU is the in-wall cover.

What colour is it?

Silver, to suit the silver aluminium front of the R28A.

Is the door phone or in-wall kit included?

No. This SKU is the rain cover only.
