Akuvox AK-S539INWALLK flush-mounts the S539 10″ Android facial recognition door phone. The metal back box fits a 353.5 × 169 × 41 mm wall opening, the flush bracket screws onto it and the S539 mounts on the bracket for a built-in finish. Screws and anchors included.

The AK-S539INWALLK is Akuvox’s flush-mounting kit for the S539. The door phone ships without a box; this kit sets the 10″ station into the wall so it sits close to the façade.

This SKU is the in-wall installation kit.

You receive the box, bracket and fixings listed below, as shown in the Akuvox S539 quick guide. The S539 door phone is sold separately.

Recessed, the S539 reads as part of the lobby wall, with cabling and terminals hidden in the box behind it.

In the kit

Back box plus bracket.

The metal flush box has 25 mm knock-out cable entries and slotted fixing rails, and fixes into the wall with six ST4×20 screws and anchors.

The flush bracket screws onto the box with six M4×8 screws and carries the S539.

Sized for the S539.

The box measures 353.1 × 168.6 × 40.3 mm and needs a 353.5 × 169 × 41 mm opening; the 363.5 × 179.8 mm S539 front covers it.

On exposed entries, add the S539 in-wall rain hood around the recessed door phone.

Common questions

How big a hole do I need?

353.5 mm high, 169 mm wide and 41 mm deep. The opening can be a little larger; fill and seal around the box afterwards.

Does the S539 come with a mounting box?

No. Every S539 needs either this in-wall kit or the S539 on-wall kit.

How do cables get into the box?

Knock out one of the 25 mm entries — three on the back and more on the ends — and run the cables or conduit through before fixing the box.

What mounting height does Akuvox show?

The Akuvox drawings place the bottom of the S539 at 1,166 mm and the camera centre at 1,500 mm above ground.

Which rain hood goes with a flush install?

The S539 in-wall rain hood. The on-wall hood is for surface-mounted units.

Will it fit the S538?

No. The S538 is a smaller panel with its own in-wall kit.

Is the door phone included?

No. The kit contains the box, bracket and fixings only.

Order one kit per S539 you want recessed, and add the S539 in-wall rain hood on exposed entries. For surface installs use the S539 on-wall kit.

Fitting. Cut a 353.5 × 169 × 41 mm (H × W × D) opening, drill six 6 mm holes 25 mm deep, fix the box with six ST4×20 screws and anchors, then fix the bracket with six M4×8 screws — see the Akuvox S539 quick guide.
