Akuvox AK-X912INWALLK is the flush-mount kit for the X912 door phone. It recesses an X912K or X912S into the wall so only the front panel and a slim plate sit proud, with the cabling hidden in the box. The flush-mounting box, bracket, plate and all fixings are included.

The AK-X912INWALLK is Akuvox’s in-wall installation kit for the X912 series. The box goes into the wall, the door station fits into the flush-mounting bracket, and a plate finishes the edge — a recessed installation for the X912K or X912S.

Everything to flush-mount one X912.

You receive the box, bracket, plate and fixings below. The X912 door phone and cabling are sold separately.

Recessed, tidy and wired out of sight.

Flush-mounting sets the X912 into the wall, with its connections and cable entries inside the box rather than behind a surface bracket — the usual choice for new builds and rendered or masonry entries.

In the wall

Set the box into the wall.

Cut a 265 × 116 × 45 mm opening, knock out the cable entries you need and fix the box with four ST4 × 20 screws and wall anchors in 6 mm holes, 25 mm deep. The top of the box lines up with the wall surface.

Cables run in through the knock-outs and connect to the station inside the box.

Finish

Bracket and plate frame the station.

The X912 fits into the flush-mounting bracket, the plate fixes over it with four M3 × 8 screws, and the assembly is secured to the box with two M4 × 16 Torx screws.

On an exposed entry, the X912 in-wall rain cover fits between the bracket and the box.

Which door phones does it fit?

The Akuvox X912 series — X912K and X912S.

What size hole do I need?

265 × 116 × 45 mm (height × width × depth). The box itself is 264 × 115.6 × 45 mm.

How much of the wall does the finished install cover?

The finishing plate is 273 × 125.6 mm and only 3 mm thick, so the station sits almost flush.

What’s included?

The flush-mounting box, bracket and plate, four ST4 × 20 screws with wall anchors, four M3 × 8 screws, two M4 × 16 Torx screws and a Torx wrench.

Can I add a rain cover?

Yes. The X912 in-wall rain cover fits between the flush-mounting bracket and the box, fixed with the same two Torx screws.

Do I still need the bracket from the X912 box?

No. The flat wall bracket in the X912 box is for surface mounting; this kit replaces it for a flush installation.
